Very comfortable. Since we can't rent a scooter, the host helped us rent electric bicycles and was very helpful.

We had a great stay at A-Lang Homestay! The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, they picked us up from the ferry, drove us to rent a scooter, and let us store our luggage after check-out. The location is very convenient too. The shower had warm water and great water pressure, towels were included. Would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately due to Covid, the host said that the complementary breakfast was unavailable, therefore we got 200 NTD discount of the room price. Nevertheless, there is a breakfast shop recommended by the host ( also right next to the host's convenience shop), which is not so bad. I really enjoy the taro bun and it has English menu which is a plus point. However, you should not visit Orchid island without any Chinese language ( or at least your companion should speak Mandarin to communicate) If you read any English travel blog, it is recommended to live on the other side of the island which feature 7-11, however I found the neighborhood of this homestay is lovely. The room has excellent window view to the lovely light blue ocean on a sunny day ( it would have been great if there is a balcony to enjoy the full view of the beautiful blue ocean). The nearby neighboring area houses a number of eatery places along with the famous taro ice cream of the island, which is a must-eat dish. Due to having no transportation to go around the island, we discovered many interesting places of the village where the homestay based. If you wake up at 5-6am, walking down the street is an enjoyable experience when you can fully see the details local people have put on to decorate their shops. The host was nice enough ( probably pitied us for having no means of transportation) to offer us a ride to go around the island so we had one afternoon to see what the island looks like. BTW, be ready to pack some dog food because strays are all over the island.
