The dinner offered for 100k was very tasty, although it has nothing to do with a family dinner as I expected in order to learn things about life of the locals in the area. Generally the difficulty of communicating in English makes the whole experience less authentic than it is supposed to be at a homestay. It seemed more like attracting tourists issue. The family seems friendly and happy to help.

Traditional dinner with the family and other guests was delicious and topped off with home made “happy water” was a real treat!

Totally rustic and authentic, the huge beds and pillows in the dorm are some of the most comfortable i have ever slept in.. The shared evening meal with copious amounts of happy water is plentiful and excellent value for money.. Although the owner has limited English he communicates very effectively.. My tip would be to visit the waterfall for an early morning jumo and swim to avoid the crowds..
