Great central location. If you're new to Lancaster and their one way system you might want to put Lucy Street car park in your sat nav. Just 100 yards from the pub. After 6pm Sat and all day Sunday you can park along Friar Street which is just one road away from the pub (closer for loading bags etc). Didn't interact with the pub much itself but looks beautiful and the staff we did engage with were polite. We were on the ground floor around the back of the pub, and wasn't too noisy. Nice shortbread in the room, they helpfully serviced the room whilst we were there, and the look of the room was nice and bed was comfortable. More TV channels than you will ever need.

Perfect location. Lovely bar/restaurant. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Staff were superb especially as it was so busy/ hottest day of the year.

Plenty of space in the room, at a fantastic price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was also great with good portion sizes. I was also lucky to stay on Monday night discount night for food and drink. Thank you to all staff.
