Situated in a hillside rural situation near an old village that looks as thoiugh it hasnt changed for 200 years! The old quinta has been extended with comfortable small rooms, air conditioned, very welcome with temperatures around 40 o. The evening meal with wine was simple but very tasty, as was the extensive breakfast. Both meals were served by the owners charming daughter, a trainee lawyer. When she presented us with the bill, I told her something that she might never hear agin in her chosen legal career, “You haven’t charged enough”! The cost of the accommodation and the meal were both extremely modest. I would strongly recommend this quinta if you are in the area. The swimming pool was very welcome after a days travelling and we enjoyed conversation with the owner and fellow guests.

The breakfast was simple continental style with coffee, juices, cereals and toasts. Dinners were from homemade cooking with three courses. Location is a little bit off from the main highway but it was OK to drive through the countryside.
