The host Kath made our short stay so relaxing as nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic, room was great and I would highly recommend a stay at Backbrae House. We did not just book accommodation we made a friend (including Maggie the dog!).

“I absolutely love this place. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Plus, the whole atmosphere was peaceful and calm, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything about my experience was excellent

Firstly, Cath is an amazing host, so friendly and accommodating- she couldn’t do enough for us. Maggie the dog is an added bonus for us - so cute! The house is in a gorgeous location and has everything you could need. Rooms are big and comfortable, with great quality bedding etc. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had - definitely couldn’t finish it and Cath’s freshly baked banana bread is divine! Would love to stay again for sure. Thank you Cath for a lovely stay x

An amazing family home that they shared with us and especially 'Maggie' the dog, who was absolutely adorable! Really exceptional architecture im this remoddled building!
