Please let us know if you are coming to Lamu by bus (which Bus Company & departure time from Mombasa or Malindi) or by plane (which airline & arrival time) so that we can wait for you at the jetty in Mokowe or Lamu or at Manda Airport. Guests only have to pay boat fare for themselves and if they need help with their luggage otherwise we don't charge anything for pick up.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Arnold is a great host, he loves what he does and made our stay perfect. The house is in Lamu Town, some minutes walking from the ferry and perfect for a visit of the village. We've been picked at the airport and guided to the house, which was great. Arnold provides all the information you might need - what to visit and good places to eat. He organised a tour to the Takwa Ruins for a fair price, which we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast is amazing, with options varying from different egg dishes to (banana) pancakes and fried vegetables. There's always a fresh juice, fruits, a hot drink and toast and it's served on the terrace, where we also spent some hours in the afternoon/evening. The rooms are clean and equipped with fans, we had everything we needed.

The host Arnold is very thorough and helpful. The place feels like a quaint clubhouse that is hidden in the maze of old Lamu.

Amazing place with the host and owner Arnold who is very kind and always willing to help and gives very good advice about local places worth visiting. The breakfast is very good and diverse, with daily fresh fruit from the market. The house is very clean with comfortable beds and also backpacker friendly. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage, the lady comes to your room and is very much worth it. All in all a place to come back any time!
