The Lamai is a wonderful, luxurious hotel and was exactly what my friend and I were looking for when we wanted to truly treat ourselves. The rooms are beautifully designed and finished to a very high standard. While slightly smaller than some other properties we’ve stayed in, the bathroom is magnificent and the swim-up pool adds a real touch of indulgence. The restaurant is excellent, with delicious food and a great breakfast selection. It’s also a lovely place to relax with a drink. The beach is absolutely beautiful - my idea of Thailand perfection. The staff were outstanding: incredibly friendly while maintaining a sense of calm and serenity that I was really looking for. The hotel is also set back from the main road, so you barely notice it, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere.

If you’re looking for the perfect place for a quiet stay in Koh Samui, The Lamai Samui is an excellent choice. Located just outside Lamai, it offers a peaceful setting while still being close enough to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the village. We loved taking walks along the street or the beach to reach the main part of Lamai, but for those who prefer not to walk, the hotel provides a convenient shuttle service twice a day to Lamai Beach and twice a week to Chaweng Central shopping centre. One of the highlights was the extra support provided through WhatsApp messaging. The hotel kept us updated on daily activities such as walking groups and gym sessions, and the app was also great for booking private transport or asking any questions during our stay. This made everything so easy and stress-free. The staff were absolutely wonderful welcoming, friendly, and always making us feel comfortable and cared for. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out and made our stay memorable.

Private rooms with balconies. No one overlooked mine. Rooms were beautiful and my room even had an art installation in the bathroom. Nicest hotel I've stayed in.
