Great value for money. The location is amazing and mostly away from the crowds in the evening. The pool was the reason we picked this place given we would not be by the beach. The two small villages of Lakones and Makrades are within walking distance and have great local eateries. The staff were great, especially the women on during the day.

- Views were magnificent, indeed quite exceptional. - Staff could not have been more helpful. - We were only able to eat once, but the early dinner delicious - lamb chops, fritto misto, and salads - all are recommended - The descent on foot to the beaches and ports were magical, through a steep hillside forest of olive groves.

Golden Fox is golden from start to finish very welcoming family, the nephew Markus and the rest of the family accommodate you as much as possible, amazing views,amazing food, customer service beyond belief and the pool is to die for!!!! The fact it has great views with great people makes it that tad bit better. Car park facilities are great as have own car park, few mins walk from other view points and other restaurants and coffee shops.

We visited the Golden Fox in October, and therefore it was quiet and chilled out vibes. As per the other reviews, this place has the most incredible views, and the location truly is 10/10. We arrived late (2am) but our hosts were extremely accommodating (even sending personalised instructions for check in). The room was spacious and perfectly clean- loved the fresh laundry smell of the sheets each night. Unlike the booking.com confirmation, breakfast wasn’t included- but that didn’t detract from our experience (had coffee and pastries from the local bakery on our vast and scenic balcony instead). Fully recommend staying here with a car due to the hotel’s remote location. Free guest parking directly outside. The hosts were engaging, humorous and generous. 100% recommend.

Amazing views, lovely pool, super friendly staff who gave us some great recommendations of things to do in the area. Ideally need a car to explore as up in the hills, but you can easily walk down to the nearest village (Lakones) which has some lovely cafes/restaurants, and also further down to Paleokastritsa if you don’t mind a longer walk.

One of the most fantastic panoramic views you can get from a hotel in Europe (personal opinion) Very comfortable room, great food in the restaurant Every member of staff is truly devoted to make your stay enjoyable

The view was amazing. its obviously why people go there. There was one member of staff called kamil, who was very friendly and gave you info about the town/where is nice to eat etc.
