The location of the room with its fantastic view of the lake was incredible and exceeded my expectations. The welcome, the facilities and breakfast were all exceptional.

Ranginui at Lake Tekapo is a stunning place to stay, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat. The location is exceptional, with uninterrupted views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. The accommodation was modern, spacious, and beautifully presented. Everything is immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped, making the stay both comfortable and relaxing. It’s also an excellent spot for stargazing, with clear night skies that showcase the region’s Dark Sky Reserve at its best. We were very lucky to get a clear sky and wonderful stargazing experience. One of the highlights of Ranginui is the owner Ann Maree who is so warm and welcoming!! She makes the stay so memorable and makes a delicious breakfast!! We would definitely come and stay again!!!

Ann-Maree was so welcoming and helpful (thanks for the nail polish remover, no hassle with the car return). Great team at the property, good breakfast, very social chatty set up. Great that Ann-Maree booked some nice places for us to eat. Amazing views and location, just a short walk into town and VERY peaceful. Good stay. We had the bigger room which was great as we had big cases and there was lots of room.

Lovely friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. Very stylish room and bathroom with a superb view. High quality everything. Breakfast was delicious and ample.
