We loved our stay and found the home to be in a great spot with everything we needed. The home was very clean, warm, had lots of space, and great amenities. It was fantastic to have laundry and kitchen facilities.

Good location, near town but tranquil. We enjoyed the outdoor deck that allowed us to star gaze on a clear sky night. We saw Milky Way.

We had a wonderful stay at Darryl's house. The house was cozy, clean, and very well-equipped—everything we needed was there, including a washing machine, dryer, and full kitchen utensils. It made our family trip so much easier, especially with young and older members. Darryl was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and very welcoming. He provided clear instructions and was easy to communicate with throughout. The location is ideal: it’s only about a 10–15 minute walk to the town centre and the Church of the Good Shepherd, which was super convenient for sightseeing and meals. We truly felt at home here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Tekapo. Thank you, Darryl, for a memorable stay!

The property was exceptionally clean and welcoming with the heater on prior to arrival. The owner Darryl was more than accomodating and provides a terrific service. Highly recommend 👏
