Absolutely everything was perfect. The room, equipment, the balcony and pool. A lot of advices of the owner was so valuable for us. It is possible to order many trips with him. I can recommended.

We unexpectedly had a canceled flight meaning we had to find emergency overnight accomodation. This stay was perfect.Exceptionally clean, simple but perfect facilities. Breakfast included. Beautiful gardens with a clean pool. Tao the owner was helpful, knowledgeable and even took us back to the airport for a minimal fee. Amazing outcome of what could have been awful.

Probably the best place to spend a night in Lahad Datu as everything was very clean and our host Mr. Teo went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. There are several day tours available, e.g. to Kinabatangan river. We didn’t know otherwise would have probably booked with them. The pool and breakfast were also great and Mr Teo made sure we had good suggestions for the other meals. Great stay overall!

After five weeks of traveling Borneo, this was the best guesthouse in this price range. You felt welcome, and you are welcome here. The host family AND the staff is charming, competent, and helpful. It’s quiet. The entire property is well-maintained with a personal touch. There’s a delightful, lovingly tended garden. My room was not only clean but also equipped with everything a traveler could wish for. The attached balcony was very pleasant in the evening. And when I left after two nights, I was personally bid farewell!
