Our stay at Villa Mar Azul was excellent. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient, making us feel right at home. Although the property is about 1.4 miles from the city centre, we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and it’s only a pleasant 10 minute stroll to the beach. Overall, an excellent experience and we look forward to staying here again.

The housekeeping staff are excellent. the equipment level is great in the kitchen. The brilliant beach is a 5 minute walk away with two lovely restaurants, We loved the one to the left and ate there three nights. We would stay here again quite happily. We used uber to get around.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Mar Azul. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the compact kitchen, which made it convenient to prepare light meals. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which really added to the experience. The room also had a private outdoor area — a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The location is excellent, just a short distance from both the historic center of Lagos and the beach. For those renting a car to explore the Algarve, the hotel’s parking facilities are a huge plus. There is honestly nothing negative to mention. Everything was perfect, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lagos.
