It was a really great vibe in general and is clearly managed well and with care. Staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and the communal areas have a great vibe to them

I stayed at Macarena Hostel and would stay again. Awesome communal spaces (especially loved the pool table), spacious dorm, bathrooms were great, staff were the best! No complaints 😊

Reserved 1 hostel, and then I was settled in in another hostel which was 5 minutes away. It was amazing and way better as it had a modern kitchen, pool and a room with TV. Rooms were nice with lockers and a drawer to put your luggage.

I ended up being moved to the Macarena hostel around the corner (owned by the same people) as my original room was being refurbished. Very central, rooms were big with lockers and curtains on the beds, also cleaned everyday. Staff were lovely and easy to contact. The hostel had a very communal vibe and activities on which made it easy to meet new people as a solo traveller :)

The room I booked was unavailable so I was taken to Marcarena Beach Hostel, which was OK. I arrived a bit late anyway. I'm glad they got me a bed.

The hostel is located close to everything you may need during the stay. There are multiple cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The owner was really nice to let us use the sauna and jacuzzi from another hostel he owns which was also just 3 min walk from the 17 hostel. The sunset point is just 30 mins walk from the hostel and the trail takes you through multiple view points.

Host/owner is lovely. He is honestly the best aspect of the hostel. Really down to earth and easy going and you can see he tries his best. Facilities are what you’d expect from a basic hostel. You can go to his other hostel as well.

The hostel was nice but they actually moved us to different one. I booked a 4 bed female room but then stayed in 6 bed female room. But location was really nice, close to the center, the stuff super kind also the kitchen, toilets everything was clean. Would definitely recommend staying there:)

I can't really write a review on this hostel, we were moved to the other one - MacarenaBeach, which was just behind the corner and it was OK, I think it was bigger and better with kitchen and jacuzzi, but we didn't use it because of the rain, the owner has those two hostels, and actually we appreciate this change, thx
