We were actually moved to another apartment due to building work taking place very close to this apartment. We stayed at Apartment George’s at Quintas das Palmeiras. We loved everything about the apartment. It is really big, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a huge living/dining room, large well appointed kitchen and large balcony with seating and dining areas. The location is great, being only a few minutes walk from the marina and the old town. It’s easily walkable to the beach too. The owners provided beach towels and parasols to use, which was really helpful. Lots of thoughtful extras were provided eg coffee machine with some pods, dishwasher tablets, cooking essentials such as oil and seasonings etc. The air conditioning is excellent and there are even electric shutters on the windows. We had the added bonus of the shared pool, which was cold but refreshing after a hot day, and is very clean. The owners were very helpful, Rene met us at the station and drove us to the apartment, and Angie showed us where everything is. We loved our stay!

Home away from home, spacious and excellently located (town centre and public transport). Air con throughout, comfortable beds, lots of towels provided and very friendly hosts.
