So peaceful. Spacious rooms with lovely big bed. The back gardens perfect to let your dog off lead. Nice size pool.

It is a very cozy place with history. The location is calm and in a convenient approach by car, just in between the island and La Rochelle. Dog friendly. There is a very nice small park territory around. The room was clean and large enough. The kettle at the room allows to take tea/coffee. It was nice to use the swimming pool.

What a surprise and what a lovely stay! The Location & Parking: Only a couple of minutes drive from La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. Private parking for free in front of the chateau. Absolute no luggage issues. Room & Design: I really liked the "classic style." It’s warm, but modern, has everything needed but lacks unnecessary decor that usually just collects dust. My room was located in the roof-floor. Spacious and equipped with a bath tub (I love!) Functionality: The lighting and power outlets are perfectly placed – no issues working on a laptop at the desk or charging a smartphone by the bed. The bathroom was large (toilet even seperate) and the heating worked perfectly. Service: Check-in was seamless via a WhatsApp code, with my key card ready in an envelope. The staff speaks excellent English. Value: Excellent price-performance ratio (though this might be due to winter dynamic pricing). Miss: I arrived late and left to early so I couldn't check the spa
