The location. Set in a tranquil valley surrounded by forested hills, this is a very relaxing place to spend a few days. Although the restaurant is not open every evening there is a good selection of places to eat just 10minutes drive drive in the small town of Furness. The popular restaurants are busy at times so booking in advance is recommended, although on two nights our family group of 7 found no problem finding somewhere without advance booking. Very helpful friendly staff A hire car is essential as public transport is very limited in this corner of the island.

Very very nice location and super helpful and friendly staff. Situated ideally in very charming and calming surroundings near to Furnas Lake for very nice blocks. Excellent restaurant and breakfast.

Brilliant breakfast - best we had on the island - and great coffee. Outstanding three course dinner served in lovely dining room looking out on the garden with the flames glowing from firepit outside. Just a a few steps from Furnas Lake, set in lovely grounds with a garden, orchard, and open space. Friendly staff and even an swimming pool.
