The fine print
The property recommends to arrive between 12:30 and 13:30 in time for lunch and a Game drive shortly thereafter. Once you reach Ladysmith, please call the lodge on 27 36 421 9046, so their driver can meet you at the Reserve car park.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

We were returning visitors. It’s a 1700klm drive from the cape west coast for us. And so worth it. The staff go above and beyond, the facilities are spot on, the whole team make everything run seamlessly. You come away feeling totally spoilt.

Excellent hospitality and staff; lovely and spacious room, and we also enjoyed hanging out and dining at the main lodge. We very much appreciated how accommodating everyone was with our child and an older grandmother.

The location was in the south of the reserve where most of the Game was, so the location is perfect. Meals are excellent and service brilliant. I love a place with a view and Umzolozolo has a beautiful view with a Warmed infinitive swimming pool. Game drives were Awesome and our guide Nols was a hoot and extremely knowledgable. Highly recommend

We loved everything about our stay at Umzolozolo Lodge - from the stay, the facilities, the game drives to the fantastic staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond all the time.
