An “Magical setting, cold showers.”

Bosch Luys Kloof remains a truly magical place. The setting in the Swartberg mountains is absolutely breathtaking — raw, unspoilt nature that makes you feel completely removed from everyday life. The accommodation itself is charming and the surrounding landscape does all the talking. The weather was not on our side during our stay, but that is simply the Karoo being the Karoo and takes nothing away from the experience.

This place as well as the staff is a true Gem. We were Welcomed by Caro & Daniel, and were walked on premises visit immediately on arrival. We stayed for 1 night only as this was part of a road trip, and we regret not to have stayed more. This place is so quiet and romantic in the middle of a wonderful area. Perfect for a couple or a family, and with a swimming pool much appreciated. all what you see on the website is what you get on arrival, even more. 5 star + with no hesitation. Dinner at restaurant as well as breakfast excellent ! And the road to reach the lodge is worth 5 star too. Don't miss this experience. :)

Amazing, remote location. Lovely food and welcoming and friendly staff. The nature drive was very interesting and it was a beautiful place to hike. Great to see so many different types of antelope and the camera shots of the leopards. The drive in up Sewewekespoort was stunning. The road is unsealed but good. The road to the lodge is also stunning. It is steep and twisty in places but our hire car managed it fine. You just have to take it slowly. The chalets are very spacious and comfortable and we loved our showers with a view. WiFi is only in reception at the lodge but that is part of the appeal, you really feel away from everything.
