Beautiful big rooms with a generous slice of “old-world” charm. We were so well looked after by the team who worked around the clock to complete our experience. Food was immaculately presented and gave us the chance to sample delicious Sri Lankan cuisine. We would highly recommend having the Sri Lankan options on the menu. Great care and attention was paid to ensure our daughter could eat gluten-free (thank you so much for this).

The estate is surrounded by fresh mountain air and serene views, offering a calm and peaceful retreat in the hill country. The location is ideal for travelers by car. The rooms are beautifully maintained, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable — we enjoyed some of the best sleep of our trip here. A real highlight was the dinner: authentic local cuisine, full of flavor, served with great care. What made our stay truly special was the professionalism and warmth of the entire team. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff for making our time at Highgrove Estate so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and outstanding service in Sri Lanka’s hill country.

This is a beautiful house located in a very remote and peaceful area, perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise of everyday life. The surroundings are stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. The interiors are equally impressive—tastefully designed, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything feels well thought out and welcoming. Overall, it is a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and truly enjoy nature. I would highly recommend this house to anyone seeking tranquility and beautiful scenery.

Excellent service, great food, wonderful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff went the extra mile to arrange walks for us and accommodated our meal requests.
