Markjax “Lovely Alpine Lodge style Hotel”

A charming alpine lodge style hotel in the centre of town. The room is very comfortable, the staff very helpful, the location is great and there’s plenty of free parking nearby. Apparently this is only a two star hotel although you wouldn’t know it from the presentation it really is very attractive and clean. However there is no air-conditioning, no elevator and no fan available if you have a hot day. It was 30° during our day, toasty.

The hotel's location is quite central, and its restaurant is very good with nice views of the mountains. We love their Fondue Savoyarde, which is one of the best in the area.

Good location. Walkable to all ski lifts in La Clusaz. Really clean rooms with good facilities. Great restaurant for an evening meal and nice breakfast. Really lovely staff.
