Lovely countryside home, quiet neighbourhood, easy access (10 min drive) to nearest supermarket, 10 min walk to village boulangerie. Large garden, good parking. Close by is Saumur and Chinon (market recommended), and several Châteaux are within easy reach. Everything you could need in the house, which exceeded our expectations - clean, large, comfortable with interesting and fun details. Our Hosts, Christian and Stéphanie are wonderful people, so friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and hope we can visit again in the future.

We were self catering and our gite was well equipped and spacious . The owners were friendly helpful. Location was very good for exploring local wineries

It was lovely to be met by our friendly host, Christian and to be shown the many facilities of the gîte. Parking was very easy for us, and we have a VW Campervan so that is not always the case. The bed and seating were very comfortable and the gîte was spacious. A lovely bottle of wine was a bonus and we saw interesting birds in the garden, including a hoopoe. Some lovely châteaux are within easy reach and the surrounding area very quiet. There was an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glassware and anything we needed seemed to be there.

The gite was huge (for two people), but that just made it all the more comfortable for us. Good facilities, kitchen was ideal, lounge and dining room very comfortable. The owner of the gite gave us some useful tips for places to visit.
