Meena “Relaxing and peaceful”

It's a lovely quiet and peaceful location, but there's not much to do if you don't have a car. The bus goes to the capital about 4/5 times a day where you can connect to other areas. There are 3 swimming pools of varying depths by the ocean, 5 / 10 mins walk from the accommodation which are lovely, but no toilets or cafes. There is one restaurant in the village which opens until 4pm, and one shop where you can get most things, but triple the price of the supermarkets in the capital. It's a great place to relax and the staff are very friendly and helpful! And there are 3 lovely cats!

The garden & the view were amazing. I enjoyed watching sunrises from the patio. The apartment itself was also very cozy. And a short walk to the pool & seaside!

A marvellous vista towards the seaside and sunrise. During the time spent there, every day the weather was constant (it can however get a bit windy). Close to a starting point for a walk towards Valverde (caution: uphill). The village (La Caleta) is very calm and relaxing, close to the one restaurant, auto-rental and a store in town. All you need for a carefree vacation. As for the accommodation, friendly staff, quick to respond to additional requests during our stay, and high cleanliness level. Warning: same as for the whole island of Hierro, do rent a car and come with one, it'll make your trip inifinitely easier.

Lovely quiet location with great sea and sunrise views. Spotless room with adequate facilities to cook a meal. The hosts were very accommodating throughout. There is now a small convenience store on the way to the seafront, which has basic seating for beer, coffee and snax. The pools on the seafront were lovely. There are several buses a day to the capital (€1.35 each journey). You can walk to/from the airport (40mins), and also there is a rough trail up to the capital and also to Tamaduste.
