Good room with balcony with wonderful view over the valley down to the sea - very quiet apart from the bird-song. Friendly family running the taverna, with evening meal included. Easy drive down to Kampos beach - utterly empty and beautiful, a bit stony getting into the sea, but then fine swimming. Excellent value. We had booked for one night, but stayed a second because we liked it so much.

Sunset is a small accommodation (a taverna with a few rooms) in the quiet mountain village of Kambos. It is runned by a family with a lot of hospatality. Together with the remarkable view, it is a special place to be.

View from the room was breathtaking - same as dinner we were served. Most generous on Crete, with the best Dakos and olives we've eaten during our stay. Host is very kind, friendly and helpful. Room itself was nice, and well equipped. Not much I have to add, definitely would visit again!
