The house was incredible! All in wood, huge rooms and living space, well furnished, it was great! The owner took the time to explain everything and gave us some tips to eat/explore around. The location is great too, walking distance from a subway station and a JR, the castle is just around the corner, you can walk to the commercial center or even Gion if you like.

The house was incredibly beautiful, there was enough space for everything. Beds were comfortable, position was great in front of the Nijo Castle. The internal garden is very tiny but very beautiful and it really gives you the mood of the city which is fantastic. The house has also all the comforts with the washing machine, the dryer, the air conditioning, etc. Really recommended.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for us. It was nice to experience the lovely Japanese traditional house setting.

very happy with this most beautiful property very clean the host was extremely thorough with check in letting us know all the details of the property it had all the amenities 2 min walk to family mart station & bus stop castle across the road shopping street 2 min walk for all other kyoto sights you will need to walk 20-30 mins but you will see alot!!! i would definitely rebook
