I loved how central it was to everything, not only Teramachi markets for clothes but Nishiki for food ! The staff were lovely and the place was very tidy and comfortable. I also had a chance to talk to all the othe women I was sharing the room with and meet so many people, definitely an enjoyable stay and I would definitely book the place again. ❤️

On the second night, I stayed in the four-bed dorm downstairs. The common area was very spacious, with a huge carpet and a TV, and my roommates were all extremely friendly. When they heard I had a bit of a cold, the owner(I guess) gave me a vitamin C drink and a Pocari Sweat—I was so moved! 🥲 Thank you so much. 🙏 When I went back to collect my luggage after checking out, another staff member even asked if my cold had gotten better. I think the next time I visit Kyoto, I’ll definitely want to stay here again—though I hope you don’t get *too* popular, or I might not be able to book a bed! 🤣

Absolutely loved my stay here! 💕 On my first night, I stayed in a spacious single room on the second floor. The room was private, beautifully decorated, and had a fresh, cozy vibe. Most of the guests were respectful and considerate, which made the atmosphere even better. The location is perfect—right at the border of lively city life and peaceful quiet, offering the best of both worlds. The rule of restricting the second-floor bathroom area after 12:00 AM ensured a peaceful sleep for guests on that floor, as well as those in the first-floor dormitory near the pipes. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming environment. I’m so glad I found this place and would happily stay here again!

Very cool place, loved how homely it felt. They helped me carry my (very heavy!) luggage up and down the stairs. The room I stayed in had AC and while it was small, it was certainly big enough for all my needs. I hope to stay there again in the future.
