A traditional ryokan. Our host was very incredibly accommodating. The room was very clean and spacious and there was good water pressure in the showers. I would recommend staying here!

Nice traditional house, great location near Kyoto main station and easy walking distance to the city. Also bus station to the city is nearby as well as grocery shop. The place is exceptionally clean and quiet. The personal is friendly and I was able to leave my luggage, when I booked my stay on wrong date. Please note that there are house rules to be considered, e.g. the main door closes at 23:00. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this is the right place for you.

This ryokan is amazing, it’s old school in the best possible way - the guy who runs it is so kind and attentive, the room was warm and quiet and cosy, plus it had a lot more space than other places we’ve stayed in Japan. We also had our best nights’ sleep of our trip here! It’s just great, we love it and we’d definitely stay again next time we come to Kyoto :)

This was our favourite place that we stayed in Japan! It was a beautiful house and room and it felt like a very authentically Japanese place to stay. Everything felt super clean and well organised, with green tea and dressing gowns in the rooms.
