Fantastic location, central to Gion Corner, Pontocho Alley, Nishiki market and train stops Gion Shijo, Keihan Shijo and Kawaramachi station. Staff were so courteous and helpful at all times. Room was immaculately serviced and refreshed daily with toiletries. Option of a Japanese breakfast made freshly in limited quantities. It was a huge serving. Two other main offerings of French toast or Eggs Benedict truth smoked salmon and bacon. There were also cheeses, hams, eggs, hash browns, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice etc. the view across the City and Kyoto hills from the restaurant and from our bedroom 723 was superb. Complimentary wine, soft drinks and coffee were available from 2.00pm to 10.00pm.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely smell throughout. Centrally located. Very comfy beds and efficient check in process. Bar on 8th floor delightful. Staff very helpful and polite.
