Modernish ryokan. Paid parking just next to the hotel. Spacious tatami room with mattreses on the floor (quite comfy). Didn't use the rooftop bath as you need to pay separate. Close to philospher path and some temples but far from everything else but that's jsut kyoto. Amazing breakfast unless you re there on Wednesday which is when they don't serve food heh. Staff friendly but very hard to communicate. Nice garden but our room overlooked ugly parking. Ok price/quality.

Clean room with a traditional Japanese essence. The futons are comfy, and the bathtub is clean. Quiet neighborhood with proximity to bus stops, hidden gem restaurants, and temples.

It is an authentic ryokan on a quiet area of kyoto. The room is beautiful and very clean. They leave you with all amenities you may need during your stay. The staff was also very helpful if you need anything
