The girl there was very kind with us, she prepared our breakfast by herself, every day was a different breakfast with meals that has Kyoto specialties that we didn't see in other places, so it was very cool. The instalarions were perfect, very clean and pretty and very comfortable.

Rokkon Guest House is in a great location, a lovely neighbourhood with food and transport options nearby. With comfortable beds and soft linens, a perfect host and an amazing breakfast, it was our favourite place on our Japan trip.

The location of the guest house is central, convenient to access Kyoto station (3 stops), walk around the modern city (with plenty of great food options) and access touristy sites (Gion, Arashiyama etc.). The room is spacious and has everything you need to be confortable and feel like at home. Kayoko has been the perfect host, providing delicious traditional japanese breakfast and tea everyday as well as local recommendations.
