We had an unforgettable experience at Nissho Besso for our honeymoon. The traditional ryokan style allowed us to really immerse ourselves in Japanese culture, and the staff made us feel like we were guests in their own home. We were gifted each day with little origami’s, notes and sweet treats. We had robes and slippers to wear around the property as you can’t wear shoes inside and we enjoyed it so much. Great location near restaurants, izakayas, and walking distance to all the sites to see in Kyoto! Thank you so much for having us and we hope to be back soon :)

the location is great!! super central, walking distance from nishiki market, and the gyon district (perfect for night walks!) many stores and coffee stores nearby, we loved the location! the room was very spacious and comfortable, the futon beds as well!! they brought us tea to the room every evening we came back home which was greatly appreciated. they also provided yukatas and folded them every day! they left us origami by the side of our pillow every day with a little printed out message which was really cute:) the ryokan itself looks quite nice too. the staff was very friendly and helpful which made our stay better!
