The property is well maintained and feels fresh and clean. The location is also excellent—just a short walk to a major bus stop that connects you to all the main tourist spots around Kyoto.

Good location, there is a lot of things you can do in the surroundings if you don't mind the walk. Make sure to have dinner at the Cantonese place nearby. If you know how to use public transport you can go absolutely anywhere without any hustle. The room on the 2nd floor is confortable and the balcony is convenient for laundry. Even though there is no lift the stairs are not that high. They are narrow however but this was not a problem for us. The bathroom is spacious enough for a family of 4. The room on the 3rd floor is smaller, still ok for a family of 4. The room has shampoo conditioner and shower gel and other accessories.

Luana Sanjusangendo was great. Location was excellent, it was very clean and tidy.

Really loved how spacious it was especially compared to our more central stay in Tokyo. It was a very nice experience! Great area to stroll around at night. Highly recommend the mom and pop convenience store right by!!
