Ryokan Overview

Ryokan Kinoe is located in central Kyoto, just a 5-minute walk from the Gion area. It offers a traditional stone garden, 24-hour public baths and spacious rooms with private bathrooms.

Ryokan was in a perfect location with a short walk from restaurants and shops in Gion. It was super clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

It's a traditional inn but a modern one with a lift, so you don't have to drag your suitcases up the stairs. It has a public bath onsite. If you include dinner/breakfast with your reservation, food is so good. While location is not close to a subway station but it's very close to many tourists' destinations like Gion, Yasaka Jinja, Sannenzaka, Yasaka Pagoda, Kiyomizudera (walking distance).
