The room was big and well furnished. The hotel is quite pretty. You can check-in online and access directly your room which us nice (you need to download an app though). No keys, just a password. It is very well located to access different parts of Kyoto.

Very spacious room, great hotel atmosphere (reception and access to rooms were very cool), friendly staff, great matcha latte downstairs and perfect location. We also used the washing machines which were super helpful.

Check-in was easy, and could be done in advance using the KABIN app. Access to the room was then via a code i.e. no need to carry around key cards. Our room was available around an hour early Spacious and comfortable room. The shower in particular was excellent (overhead with very good water pressure). The staff were very helpful. My wife needed to visit a health clinic during our stay, and the staff couldn't have done more to ensure she got to a suitable place for treatment. The location was good for us. We were around a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest train/metro station that we most commonly used, and the sand from a nearby bus station. (The buses in Kyoto were very good.)

Very clean, friendly staff and great location. The room was huge and the bed super comfy. Out best stay in Japan.
