Quite western style rooms. Has a lounge area which is open most of the day and provides complimentary drinks and snacks throughout.

Very clean rooms. Spacious for Japanese standards. Convenient location. Incredible breakfast with many Kyoto local produces. Excellent value for money.

This hotel tick off most of my dream hotel request: - Fair price - has Hot commnunal bath (same as onsen) - Big room space ( twin room seems to be bigger than double room) - Friendly staff - 2x massage chairs - Hotel breakfast are nice and delicious, bit on pricey 2750 yen/day but very worth to try. We were full balance and feel energised - flow drink and snack bars - nice decor with ryokan japanese style- feel super cozy - there are Lawson, 7 eleven and family 5-10mins walk away. - Nishiki market is 9mins walk but I found the market to be more ex than Kuromon in Osaka, the only special thing is the mix chilli oil furikake.

They had a guest lounge downstairs to have a drink in at the end of the day. The hotel provided red and white wine, cocktail of the day, sparkling wine and snacks which was a nice touch at the end of the day. The coin operated washing machines were also handy.
