The location is ideal, as you're literally on top of the train station (you can't hear anything), making it easy to travel to Nara, Osaka, and anywhere else you'd like to go. This was the first place during our 2-week trip where we actually slept really well. The beds were 'western' standard and the views from the hotel are really cool. The staff were super sweet, the laundry service was great, and the luggage service was amazing. I'd recommend anyone doing multiple stops around Japan to use it, so worth it, and you're not overpacked on very busy trains. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is par excellence! Right on Kyoto station which makes travelling around super easy. The property is very good with beautiful and comfortable rooms , lots of restaurants to choose from, a helpful concierge desk and great breakfast. The Manager was supportive and allowed me a complimentary early checkin and late checkout and this makes a lot of difference to a tired traveller!
