Cute little house, multiple ACs to heat it up (so not as cold as other places in Japan in winter), kitchen with everything needed, comfortable beds (Western style), nice owner & uncomplicated checkin process

It was spacious and well situated for getting around Kyoto. The upstairs two room were a good size with the one with twin beds being larger and having furniture. There was a well resourced kitchen and the bathroom area was sufficient for our needs. A helpful local map given to us on arrival proved invaluable.

I liked the look of the house and the location. The beds were also very comfortable.
