The hosts were so lovely and the included breakfast was such a highlight. They picked us up from Kyoto station at the start of the stay and dropped us off at the end as there is a bit of a hill but without suitcases it was no problem, less than a 10 minute walk to a street with plenty of shops and a train station. Such a beautiful view and really nice room!!

We Loved our stay in Kyoto, the room was very nice in a quiet residential area, it was nice to stay in a traditional house. The owners were very nice and friendly, we got picked up and dropped off from the train station, they also helped us with local attractions, and the breakfast and coffee was very nice to start the day. It is further out of the main town but we liked this and is what we were after, a 10 minute walk and you are at the bottom of the street which has a good selection of local shops and restaurants. Its a good walk back up, but taxis are also fairly cheap if preferred, recommended if coming back from the main city centre, but is also reachable by the local buses.

We had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. The location was in a beautiful and peaceful area, with a breathtaking view of Kyoto, even though it was about 4 km from the city center. The room was very clean, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. Additionally, the price included a transfer from Kyoto Station to the guesthouse and back, which was a great convenience. Ihighly recommend this place!
