We had an amazing stay at this cosy guest house with an amazing view of Kyoto and the mountains. The owners (we forgot to ask their names, sorry!!) were so helpful and kind and we really enjoyed talking to them over breakfast in the mornings. They also picked up us from the station upon arrival and dropped us off at the station when we checked out, which was so kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was also fantastic and gave us a great start to the day. It took just over 20 minutes to walk to the JR station (we had JR passes, so it made most sense for us to travel from this station), but there were also bus stops closer to the guest house. We enjoyed the peaceful walk to the station in the mornings and in the evenings after a full day of sightseeing. If you want to be amidst the hustle and bustle of Kyoto, then you might be better off booking somewhere more central and located to the main sites. However, we really enjoyed retreating back to the guest house in the evenings after sightseeing all day and would highly recommend the place. Thanks so much for the lovely stay :)

We had a great time in Kyoto and this accommodation was very good. We could park our E-bikes in the garage and it was easy to drive to all places and back to the house. The owners were very friendly and we had got a nice chat every morning during breakfast. The room is big and everything is clean. It was perfect for us. Thank you so much!
