We loved the coziness of the whole house and friendliness of the staff as well as the guests and the dog Jiro. The bus station and convenience store are both very close and breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

The guesthouse is located in a nice area, very close to nearby shrines, hiking trails and the main city. What I loved though was the house itself. The son-in-law to the main owner/chef, Emerson, was incredibly friendly and I enjoyed talking to him. The whole environment was very chill, was like being in your own home. They had also printed out maps for the rooms depicting lots of recommended attractions and restaurants, colour coded and with scannable QRs. The freshly cooked breakfasts each day were delicious as well. Good shower as a bonus! The dog Jiro was also so cute and makes the hostel unique.
