Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and completely different from other hotels. From our arrival, when Anna provided us with all the information and took care of us throughout our stay. Breakfast made to order, peaceful and harmonious Japanese style environment. The hotel is located in a quiet street, a minute from a non-stop supermarket. A few minutes drive from the train station. Thank you Anna and all the other staff for such a beautiful place you have created. Natalie and Julie

Stylish and welcoming but in an understated way. Very attentive staff. Lovely breakfast. Quiet location but centrally well placed. Will return and will recommend.

A beautiful hidden ryokan in Kyoto. Such a delightful room with traditional (and very comfy) beds. The staff were so kind and always happy. The hotel also has an amazing breakfast. Super close to a station but walkable to Gion and nishiki market area. There’s only five rooms which keeps it quiet so make sure you book!
