It had a homely and friendly atmosphere. Comfortable bed and owner was accommodating with a plenty and varied array of food for breakfast. The location was good as was far from the station and easy to find.

Wasn’t expecting breakfast and didn’t really eat it (apart from 2 tangerines!) Wouldn’t really bother offering it. Bed very comfortable and slept well. Host very welcoming and unintrusive. .

In a quiet spot - felt secluded and the extension was separate from the main house affording a bit of privacy. Pleasant outlook to lawn and wooded area and occasionally chickens roamed the grounds. Owners struck nice balance between leaving us to ourselves and providing when required. They kindly left us wine glasses one day when I left a bottle of red on the table unprompted. A basic breakfast, cereal and tea/coffee and pastry proved a very useful way to get us going in the morning and a little fridge for milk etc. All in all a pleasant stay.
