Every single thing. It far exceeded all my and my two friends' expectations. It truly feels like a Robinson Crusoe style tree house combined with an extremely luxurious African bush lodge. I spent two years working as an antipoacher where I lived in the bush and this felt as immersive but with all the luxuries I could have imagined and more. The animal life is truly spectacular from the massive Nyalas grazing 15 meters away from you to the little gennet cat that lies on the deck at night. I have stayed at a lot of self catering accommodations across South Africa and thus far Thornwood has been the best. I highly highly recommend Thornwood to any foreigners looking for an immersive and luxurious bush experience. Thank you Nadia and Angel, we will be back as soon as we possibly can.

Loved our stay in Thornwood Lodge and enjoyed walking around Kuleni encountering wildlife and plenty of birds. Angel was extremely helpful and friendly.
