It was exactly what we needed. It had a well equipped kitchenette. The hosts were so lovely and hospitable. The area is beautiful and feels untouched! We had an incredible time and will definitely be coming back! I recommend a 4x4 vehicle for activities in the area.

Lodge uMusa is a great place to put your bags down after a long drive and use as a base to visit Kosi area. It's a quick 10 min drive into Manguzi and a tranquil setting. The rooms were fully equipped and the hosts amazing, informative and will go out of their way to assist with anything. Philip's gourmet burgers were delicious. The lodge is 2 mins from the permit office and the lake setting there is spectacular, wooden jetty perfect for a sundowner or to just stop and stare at the natural beauty. Kosi Mouth is about 25 mins away, once you have your ticket (office only opens at 8 so buy the afternoon before if you want to get there early).

The location of Lodge Umusa is perfect, walking distance from Kosi lake. The propery is rich with trees and birds. The rooms beauiful and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Philip and Nicolene and the kids are the perfect hosts, their hospitality and friendliness sincere. Philip is ready to help with any arrangement and his burgers are amazing! Our time in kosi bay could not have been better.

Convenient, peaceful, clean, neat, homely, beautiful location. Phillip the owner/manager was friendly and super helpful. I will rebook when I am in St Lucia again
