Quaint hotel on the edge of the historical quarter of Kurashiki. We had two rooms, one for my husband and I and one for our two young adult sons. The rooms we got were right opposite to each other which was great as our room had a small lounge area that we utilized in the evenings. Rooms are a good size, bright and modern. Quiet at night, fantastic shops and eateries to explore all around and we appreciated the on-site Lawsons for late night snacks. Ate dinner at the restaurant on our last night which despite being far from ever busy from what we could see, served a fantastic set meal with a tasty soup, top notch steak and dessert. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had an excellent stay at the Ivy Square. The staff was very helpful, recommending an amazing local restaurant for dinner. Our room was quiet and comfortable with enough space for our many pieces of luggage. The location was perfect - at the edge of the historical center. And, parking was available for our rental car. It's very good value for money and higy recommended.
