First published on TripAdvisor: The staff were very friendly and all too willing to help. First and only big pain, as there are no pickups from the airport after 6pm, the motel recommended Quick Collect service. They also advised us to book early, which we did. We got out of the little airport to find that the only car was already full of other passengers, so much for booking early. So we had to wait for the car to come back. When he did, it was a young man who let us know that his greatest aim was to leave Kunanurra as soon as possible. We said about the booking, and his response was welcome to Kunanurra. It was a 5 minute drive to our hotel, price? $40.00. Just highway robbery, no meter, no quote, just $40. My advice, use anybody else (there is a Kunanurra Taxi service, we found out later. The motel were just as surprised as we were. Otherwise, the rooms were basic but adequate, there were no places to hang clothes so the clothes tended to be spread around the room. Shower was hot with a good flow of water. There is a good sized pool and a large communal kitchen. The motel is in the middle of town with good access to all shops and amenities. The manager did drive us back to the airport at no charge and was really lovely.

Comfy, selection of pillows, some hard some soft, friendly staff advised on local questions, nice courtyard, secure parking
