Everything was perfect.a beautiful location on the water,a modern equipped room but most of all Jes and the staff who were exceptional. Jes was a friend in minutes and hosted us including a delucious chef meal. This is not just a stay .it is an experience . Thanks !

Staying here was one of the highlights of our 3 weeks trip to India. The room is very comfortable and beautifully designed, the waterfront location great, but the exceptional value here is the super friendly and personalized hosting by Jes and the team, not the least the authentic and fresh meals they prepare with a lot of variety and attention to every small detail. A great opportunity to get to know Kerala life from within. Do not miss the Hindu temple visit they offer.

A carefully designed, atmospheric, clean housing unit. The owner, who studied cooking in Europe, comes with a worldview of connecting guests to Indian culture. A charming guy. He cooked for us and explained the dishes. It was delicious and interesting.

It was clean, well furnished and equipped, it lay right by the waters edge, at a point where most tourists on the big house boats go in one direction but they’re smaller boats were able to go in the other, down the smaller and I. My opinion much more beautiful canals.

Stay at Little Chembaka was a beautiful end to our Kerala trip... After cancelling 2 air bnbs we finally chose this one and it was the best decision. The property was so beautiful and cozy, such warm and lovely hosts, special mention to Jes for an amazing time we had. The owners were so gracious, made us feel so comfortable, going that extra mile to help us with our toddler needs, making our stay memorable with an impromptu lunch at a local restaurant next to the rice fields and giving us a great company, and taking us for a beautiful sunset and sunrise boat trip, to make it even better was the superb dinner experience, delicious food freshly cooked. Jes is an incredible cook, so welcoming, thoughtful. We had a lovely time understanding his passion behind what he does. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back here again!

The property is great but you go there for the complete immersion in to life in the Keralan backwaters. The team are passionate about their local food and environment which makes for a fantastic experience.

We loved the comfortable riverside cottage. The activities we participated in were so much fun. As well as a brilliant cook Jesarth is passionate about the local food and community.
