It was such a great traditional set up, located very centrally so that amazing sights can be reached easily. You can also hire a bicycle to access even more of Kumamoto

Traditional feeling Hostel with a lot of services of acommodation to offer. Well located, felt extremely comfortable and well served for all my needs. Offers towels they wash everyday, comfortable kitchen, tables and lounge. I was able to bond with other friendly guests, and the staff was very kind and helpful, ひまり in particular was very kind! Sharing bedrooms didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable on any of the days.
