It's such a unique concept to sleep inside a pipe culvert which has been renovated into a comfortable air-conditioned and cosy place to sleep. The jungle vibes and sea views were impressive and soothing. Great spot for watching the sunset too.

Everyone says the rooms are tiny. They are. But the property is stunning. The facilities are really good and the views are amazing. The pool, the sunset platform, movie night. Fabulous! I recommend the hike through the Permai Resort.

Location is incredible. Nested into the side of a hill, with little environmental impact, and incredible views of the South China Sea! The design of the culvert is unique and it is one of the most interesting places I have stayed. There are two pools with fabulous views, a sauna, gym and a library. Beach access and lots of lovely places to wander. The views from the culverts are breathtaking. I would recommend spending a little extra and booking a culvert with a sea view. If you want space then definitely book the larger deluxe culvert. Food options are limited and fairly basic. The staff are wonderful and if there are issues during your stay raise it with the staff and they will go out if their way to fix it as opposed to writing a bad review!

The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is great for leisure. Too bad it was raining so I couldn't do many activities in the afternoon.
