Locationis 10/10, away from the chaos of clubs and crowds, with breathtaking views of the mountain and the lake. Perfect temperature to enjoy mornings and afternoon at the rooftop infinity pool. Staff was superb, always smiling, professional and helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very aesthetic. The view from our balcony was to die for. Breakfast was generous and tasty, however we haven't had the chance to try the restaurant. I'd definitely recommed this hotel to friends and family.

The view (but many other places around the Batur caldera have the same), the beautiful design/architecture and the friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is also, while pricy, very good.

Firstly the staff were superb, as soon as we arrived for our nightvwe were met by Dewal who welcomed us and looked after our every need, he surprised us by setting my wife and I up for a meal in a private room in the restaurant where they had a great singer called Jon who did requests, the food was excellent and if you're partial to a quality cigar they even have a humidor with a range of cigars at good prices to choose from, Dewal prepares the cigar for the smoke. The view is spetacular, with Mount Batur in all its glory directly on show from the window surrounded room with Mount Agung also visible from the right. As the lovely cocktails flowed we chatted with a lot of the staff and had a group photo with them, great team at The Oculus.
