Booked a place to stay just for the night while doing Mt Batur in the morning, and was unexpectedly blown away by the hostel! The entire property has a real cool feel to it, it also boasts INCREDIBLE views. It rained all afternoon while I was there, but after a few hours of hiding out/reading I simply couldn't resist the steaming hot springs anymore and had a nice long soak while it rained on me, staring out at Mount Agung. It felt pretty epic. The staff are also super friendly! And they have a sweet cat who loves to fall asleep in your lap. I booked my hike through the hostel, Puja was my guide and he was THE best. Ask for him if you're able. Also as a heads up for any other type B's reading this who maybe aren't planning ahead/like to just show up, there is no Gojek/Grab in Kitamani. So either come in/out with a scooter rental or be prepared to pay minimum 400k to use the hostel's taxi service to leave.

Lovely hosts. Very nice vibe, also easy connecting with everyone for solo travellers, simple but cozy warung, creative entrepreneurship by the owner Yon, serving fish from his lake fish farm, also tasteful vegetarian options, and last but not least the hot spring pool. and all of this at the foot of Gunung Batur which is splendid. You walk the hike from the hostel, no transportation needed. Lovely guides for the mountain hike.

Amazing views near start of short hike up Mt. Batur. Lovely gardens and hot, warm & cool pools. They change the hot water daily! Free water refills and an inviting bar area to take in the spectacular views. Inside the room was free of flies and good quality construction. Everything worked and was as advertised. Food basic but good. They have cold drinks, including beer.

So comfortable beds in the dorms! It's possible to book the Mt Batur guide directly at the hostel, no need to book it in advance. The hot springs are amazing with a beautiful view.

View : Just open the room door and the splendid view (Mountain and Lake) is just in front of you. Hot spring : we can chill out in hot spring whole day while enjoying the view. This is the facility which makes this hostel 10 out of 10.
