The position was perfect to explore taman Negara. The tours offered were great. It is also possible to have a great breakfast for 20 ringgit, they will prepare for you fresh eggs or pancakes every morning. The room itself was ok, of course there were some insects but you need to get used to it. Definitely recommended.

Tebing Guesthouse is situated in Kuala Tahan village and short walking distance to the jetty from which one can ferry across to Taman Negara National Park. The guesthouse is well maintained and the communal spaces are cleaned daily. The reception staff was friendly and helpful; they organise tours and offer cold water and soft drinks. Our room was located at the main guesthouse on the upper floor. The room was clean and matched the pictures advertised. There was daily housekeeping which we appreciated very much. There was a double bed, a small table with one chair, and a small metal bench. There was no closet or shelf to unpack. There were no bedside tables. We would have loved a mini-fridge as well as more sockets or a socket distributor. The bathroom had a shower and toilet in one room as a consequence everything (including the toilet paper) gets wet.

Clean rooms and get cleaned all the time. Friendly staff that greets you and the breakfast you can have for a extra charge is also very good. Location is close to the restaurants and the shops if you take the shortcut to the steps that lead to the river and boats crossing.
